If you’re after somewhere to chill out in peace and quiet after a day of exploring Magnetic Island then Ascot Cottage is just what you're looking for.
Ascot Cottage is located in the charming and peaceful locale of Picnic Bay.
Set within lush tropical private gardens and only a 2 minute stroll to the beautiful Picnic Bay beach, a cold beer at the pub, and mouth-watering meals at the restaurants or catching dinner from the jetty. Golfing is also an option and only 5 minutes from the cottage.
Ascot Cottage is spacious and tastefully decorated, offering split-level accommodation. Modern stainless steel fully equipped kitchen with full size fridge, gas stove and microwave.
Whether you are after a romantic escape for two or a fun occasion away with family or friends, at Ascot you will unearth the beauty and magic of Magnetic Island.

not much that isn’t provided for your
convenience!

has to offer.
The close proximity to shops and restaurants
means visitors can choose to either buy groceries
from Nelly or Horseshoe Bays and self cater, or take advantage of the
relaxing lifestyle and enjoy some of the
fantastic restaurants in and around Picnic Bay.

We believe that our guests need to feel at home and comfortable from the first instance they walk in the door. We like them to enter Ascot Cottage and see that the presentation is immaculate and the atmosphere is not just comfortable but also inviting.
Unfortunately some of the jetty is closed at present due to damage from Cyclone Yasi. We are unsure when the jetty will be completely repaired.
